Making our muffins even more delicious
Imagine being paid to eat muffins. Yes, that really is a key part of my work here at Starbucks. I’m pleased to say that all the muffins I’ve eaten recently in the line of duty were so that you can now enjoy our new recipe best muffins ever.
And I’ve not only been busy eating muffins. I – along with a great team at our bakery – have spent many intriguing hours listening to customers, what they have to say about muffins, observing how people enjoy their muffins (are you a muffin top or muffin stump first person?) and asking hundreds of you to tell us which muffin recipes you prefer. We’ve also been busy weighing muffins, sniffing muffins, measuring muffins, counting the amount of chocolate chunks in a muffin, discussing the perfect amount of gooey sauce in our new raspberry & white chocolate muffin and deciding on the right amount of lemon essence to perfectly compliment the blueberry muffins.....phew!
I’m now pleased to say that you can try our new recipe muffins. We have made the muffins moister, made them all much more flavourful – made them even more delicious.
My favourites? Our improved classic blueberry muffin: now with 20% more blueberries than before, the wild blueberries provide such a wonderful flavour. And the all butter streusel on the top makes it such a treat.
I also have to recommend our new Raspberry and white chocolate muffin – a blend of British raspberries and white chocolate chunks, a raspberry jam filling and topped with a white chocolate drizzle. This is only available for a limited time this summer, so enjoy one while you can.
Eating muffins – it’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it!
