How do I sync Starbucks for Android™ with my Starbucks Card account?
To sync your Starbucks Card account with your Starbucks application, launch the menu and tap the more button. Tap Starbucks Card Account in the more menu and simply sign into your account. Once you have logged in your account will sync automatically with your device over the air.
What if someone gets my phone? How do I protect my information?
To protect the balance on your Starbucks Card, set up a Starbucks Card Account via your device or at starbucks.co.uk/card. This way if you lose your phone, the balance will be protected. Please contact customer care at 020 8834 5050 to report your card lost or stolen and get a replacement card. Treat Starbucks Card Mobile much like you would your other credit and debit cards – if you notice any suspicious activity on your account please notify Starbucks customer care at 0208 834 5050.
What should I do if I change my device and want to move my Starbucks app to my new one?
First, install the Starbucks application onto your new device. Next, sign in with your Starbucks username and password to add your cards to your new device. If you do not have a Starbucks account, you will need to reenter the Starbucks Card number and Card Security Code found on the back of your plastic card in order to add it to your new device. Once you set up your new device, we will automatically disable your cards from your old device.
What if I have multiple devices?
For those of you that have more than one device, lucky you! To protect your Starbucks Card, this application is designed to be active on one device at a time. The last device you logged into is your active device. This ensures that your card cannot be active on multiple devices and used without your permission. To switch active devices, just log into the device you wish to use.
Where is my credit card information stored?
Your credit card information is never stored on your mobile device. Your credit card information can be stored in your Starbucks Card account if you choose to do so. Storing your credit card information in your Starbucks Card account is a convenient way to top-up your card so that you don’t have to re-enter your credit card each time. For added security, you will be asked to enter your username/password each time you wish to authorise a top-up. This way, even if you lose your phone, no one can authorize a top-up of your card without your Starbucks Card account username and password.
Can I top-up my Starbucks Card on my phone?
Top-up your Starbucks Card directly from your device by going to the My Cards screen, touching the balance and then selecting “Top-up Card” from the menu.
Once I have signed up for auto top-up, when can I expect top-ups to occur?
How do I sign up for auto top-up?
Auto top-up is a great way to get the most of your Starbucks Card. Auto top-up is available for registered U.K Starbucks Cards. You set the top-up amount and control when your card will be topped up – on a regular schedule or when the balance falls below a certain amount. After logging in to your Starbucks.co.uk account, visit the Card Management section and click on the Set Auto Top-Up link.
Once I have signed up for auto top-up, when can I expect the top-ups to occur?
If you signed up for an amount-based top-up, your top-up will occur the day after your balance dips to or below the minimum amount you specified. For example, if you chose £10 as your minimum balance, and your balance drops to or below that amount at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, your Card will not be topped up until Tuesday. If you chose a date-based top-up, your top-up could take place the next day as top ups can take up to 24 hours. If you require funds in place on a given day, we recommend setting your top-up to occur the day before the money is needed.
Can I manage my Starbucks Card account on my phone?
You can perform common functions on your device or go to starbucks.co.uk /card for the full suite of account management features.
Do My Starbucks Rewards benefits still apply?
Yes, all your Starbucks Card Rewards benefits apply when paying with your phone. All you have to do is register your Starbucks Card and use Starbucks Card Mobile to pay and you will earn one Star every time you use it. For details on our rewards program, please visit starbucks.co.uk /rewards.
What do I do if my Stars are not appearing on the “My Rewards” screen in my Starbucks app?
If you can’t see you’re Stars, try logging in to refresh your balance. Simply touch the My Rewards button and tap the refresh button located under the coffee cup image. This will prompt you for your Starbucks.co.uk password, and will then update your balance.
Can I still use Mobile Payment if I don't have a network connection?
Yes, your barcode is stored locally on the phone and will be available when you open the application. However, you won't be able to update your Starbucks Card balance until your network connection is restored.
What do I do if the scanner isn't working and I need to pay with my Starbuck for Android™?
First, make sure that the brightness setting on your device is at a high level. If the scanner still cannot read your barcode, simply read your Starbucks Card number to the barista. Your Starbucks Card number can be found right below the barcode.
How do I get my new balance after I pay with my phone?
Your balance will automatically update when you hit the “Touch When Done” button. Additionally, you can refresh your balance any time by going to the My Cards screen, touching the balance and then selecting “Refresh Balance” from the menu.

What is the myStarbucks Application?
myStarbucks is an application that allows you to search for nearby Starbucks stores, explore our wholebean coffees, find nutrition information, and build your own perfect drink on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
How and where can I get the myStarbucks Application?
You can download the app from the iTunes Application Store for the UK.
What do I do if I have trouble downloading the application?
Make sure you are using an iPod Touch or iPhone, and are using 3.0 software. If you are still having trouble, please tap here.

Are the opening hours accurate?
We make every effort to make sure the store hours are accurate. Although rare, there are times when stores change hours unexpectedly.
Why doesn't my store show up on the map?
If your store is outside the range shown on the map, you may need to search by city or post code closer to the store’s location.
What does the filter do?
The filter allows you to find stores that are “open now” and provides you a better way to find the store that is most convenient for you. There are also filters in the food section based on calories and allergens.
How do I invite a friend to a store?
To invite a friend, find a store that you want to meet at. When you go to that store’s Detail Page, press the “Invite a Friend” button and select the friend from your contact list. You can add a new contact if necessary. Then select the method you’d like to use. You can send your meeting request via email or text, or call them directly.
I changed my drink, but the nutritional information didn't change. Why?
Nutritional information is calculated for many, but not all, variations and customisations. Certain selections may not be reflected in the nutritional data.
Why isn't my drink listed?
We make available all currently offered drinks. There may be some drinks that are no longer regularly available, but you should ask your barista.
Why isn't my favourite food in my store?
Although we make every effort to have what you want on hand, all stores don’t carry every food item.
Why can't I find a particular coffee at my Starbucks?
The application lists all coffees currently available in Starbucks stores. A particular store may be out of a coffee though.
What is Passbook?
Passbook is an application developed by Apple, which is available for devices running iOS6. For more information regarding Passbook, please view Apple’s website here.
How do I add a Card to Passbook?
You can add your Starbucks Card to Passbook right from your Starbucks for iPhone app if you are running iOS on your device.Your first time adding a Card to Passbook, Starbucks for iPhone will have a tutorial which will guide you through all the steps required to successfully add a Card to Passbook. If you want to add a Card at a later time, tap the Manage button on the card you want to add to Passbook, and then tap the Add to Passbook button.
How do I remove a card from Passbook?
Removing a Card from Passbook is simple, launch your Passbook app and find the Card you want to remove, tap the “I” icon in the lower right of the screen to flip your pass for additional options. Removing the Card can be done from the back of the pass. Deleting a pass from Passbook can only be done through the Passbook app.
How do I add favourite stores to Passbook?
The first time you add a card to Passbook, we will guide you through the steps to add a favourite store(s). After your first time through, anytime you go to the Stores Experience and add a favourite store (maximum of 10 favourites), it will automatically update your favourite stores in Passbook.
Why is my balance not updating immediately?
Your balance will be automatically refreshed every 4 hours. If you would like to manually refresh it, while viewing the Card in Passbook, use the pull to refresh gesture and it will refresh your balance.
What if my Starbucks Card and Passbook pass image don’t match?
Not all Card art is available for Passbook at this time. If we are unable to display your specific card image, the app will display a standard Starbucks Card image.
Managing your Starbucks Account on Mobile
How do I see my balance after I pay with my phone?
The balance automatically updates when you select “Done” after you pay with your smartphone. Additionally, you can update the balance by choosing “Refresh Balance” from the menu within the app interface.
How do I top-up my Starbucks Card Rewards account using the myStarbucks mobile app on my Smartphone?
Topping up your Starbucks Card Rewards app is easy with any major credit card. Just follow the steps on the app’s Top-up feature.
Can I select auto top-up?
Currently the auto top-up facility is not available in the UK; however we are working on bringing this to our customers in the New Year.
How does Starbucks protect my privacy after I register my Starbucks Reward Card?

Your credit card information is not stored on your smartphone with this app. Your credit card information can be stored in your Starbucks Card Rewards account if you choose to do so. Storing your credit card information in your Starbucks Card Rewards account is a convenient way to top-up your card so that you don’t have to re-enter your credit card each time. All registered Starbucks Card Rewards balances are protected.
Is the information about my Starbucks Card and personal credit card/identity secure on my smartphone when using it to top-up my card?
Credit card information is not stored on the app or the smartphone. Customers are asked to enter their username and password to authorise top-ups and can choose to secure the app with an additional pass code.
What if I lose my phone? How do I protect my information?
To protect the balance on your Starbucks reward card, register your Starbucks Card and create an account at www.starbucks.co.uk. Here you can manage your Card and top up your balance. If you lose your phone, you can report your lost Starbucks Card using the procedure for Lost Cards and you’ll receive full balance protection. Customers should treat Starbucks reward card much like you would your other credit and debit cards – if you notice any suspicious activity on your account, please notify Starbucks customer service.
Can I secure my Starbucks Reward Card app with a passcode?
Yes. For greater security, you can choose to secure your Starbucks reward card app with a pass code by going to the settings of your mobile device. If you set up a pass code, you will need to enter your pass code each time you open the app.
What should I do if I see any suspicious activity on my Starbucks Reward Card?
As soon as you notice any suspicious activity, please call our Customer Care team on 02088345000 and report the activity or the loss of your registered Starbucks Card. Alternatively, you can visit www.starbucks.co.uk, log in to your account and click on the Report Lost / Stolen tab. We'll freeze your remaining balance at the time you report your card as lost or stolen, transfer it to a new Starbucks Card, and mail you the replacement card immediately – without hassles or fees.
What is a 2D barcode?
The 2D barcode in the payment feature of your myStarbucks app serves the same purpose as the Starbucks Reward Card number on the back of your traditional Starbucks Card – it tells us your account number so you can use your phone to pay at all Starbucks locations in the UK and Ireland.
What do I do with my traditional Starbucks reward card after I sign up?
The payment option on the myStarbucks app is a complement to your traditional-style Starbucks Card. We recommend that you keep your plastic card in a safe place – this way, if you lose your phone, you will still have your Starbucks Card.
Can I still use mobile payment if I don’t have a network connection?
