By working together, we can create positive change in our own communities and around the world, working towards reaching our goal of 1 million community volunteering hours a year by 2015.
Each April, we encourage our partners to take their first – or their next – step in getting involved in their local communities. April 2012 is no exception. Our partners are committed to offering their help in communities up and down the country. In Enfield, London, we are working with Oasis to deliver work-readiness workshops, refresh the community centre and reinvigorate the community gardens. In Newcastle we are planting flowers and maintaining gardens. And in Elgin we are raising money for Sport Relief.
