Once you have applied for a role online, and we are interested in finding out more about you, we will first contact you over the phone. The next stage, if successful, will be to meet us face-to-face so we can get to know you better. As this is your chance to experience whether Starbucks might be somewhere you would like to work, what better way to start than with a coffee tasting. It is a great way to break the ice, and for you to get a real feel for our products and our culture first hand. Coffee is at the heart of what we do – and we hope that you will be intrigued by the chance to learn more about it.
As part of getting to know each other, the number of partners you meet and who they are will vary dependant on the role. You will definitely get to meet your prospective line manager, and perhaps other members of the team. The point is that we make sure that the process is right for both you and the role. But don’t worry – you will have plenty of warning as to what is expected of you at each stage. If we offer you the job and you accept, you will enter an immersion programme. This involves working for a short period in-store, so you get to know what it’s like to be a Barista and see how your role at the Support Centre impacts on the partners that serve our customers every day.
The Customer Service team receives and shares feedback from our customers, which helps our company stand apart and grow. We listen to our customers and respond in kind. We analyse information and provide insights so that we continue to create inspired moments around the world every day.
