About NHS Charities Together

NHS Charities Together is the national charity that raises funds for the NHS, to support NHS staff, patients and communities in ways that are over and above what the NHS can provide.

Starbucks^® & NHS Charities Together

During the COVID-19 pandemic, NHS staff would handwrite their names on PPE masks, just as Starbucks baristas handwrite names on cups. These scenes struck a chord at Starbucks, inspiring an ongoing partnership with NHS Charities Together.

Since the beginning of our partnership, we’ve donated over 500,000 items of food and drink to NHS staff working on the front line. We’ve also donated over £700,000 to support the wellbeing of front-line workers, patients, and their communities. 

As part of our partnership, our stores also have the opportunity to work with their local NHS charity, allowing Starbucks partners to make a difference in their own community at a grassroots level. So far there are over 100 stores across the UK supporting their local NHS charity.

Blue Heart Badges in Starbucks Stores

From March 2023 Starbucks stores across the UK are selling Blue Heart Badges to support NHS Charities Together, for a suggested donation of £1. All funds from badge sales will go towards helping NHS staff and patients.
